On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong put his left foot on the rocky Moon. It was the first human footprint on the Moon. They had taken TV cameras with them. The first footprints on the Moon will be there for a million years. There is no wind to blow them away.

  1. With the suit the weight of the astronaut would be about 30 kgs. Since he has two feet, the force he will exert on the moon with one foot will be 15 Kgs. I see that the footprint has made a rather deep mark into the soil of the moon. Can a 15Kg force do such a marked indentation? If we put fine soil and place a boot and put 15 Kgs on the boot, it will not make such a mark will it? I don’t think!

  2. Wow… I’m sorry but unfortunately there is literally so much evidence in favor of the moon landings that to believe they are fake is a very very tough delusion to hold on to. Ignorance is bliss. Its strange how not 1 person in the program has mentioned anything.. and how we have done so much research. The real kicker however is the film and photographic evidence that people refuse to believe, I suppose theres also the fact that to this day you can find the flag on the surface.

  3. this is prob fake and maybe the landing is aswell, the were in competition with the russians to land on the moon and probly splashed some cash at it and came up with this

  4. i have heard that the landing on the moon is fake…that they just filmed it in a recording studio…is it true? what have made people think that? how is it any different from people going to the moon now? maybe thats a hoax as well…i want to hear the story. if any one knows, let me know as well. fill me in. :)

  5. The picture of first footprint on the moon is just a symbol. What really matters is that we have made it done at that moment. I like this picture and use it on my MSN :-D

  6. I don’t understand why everyone seems to think the first footprint on the moon is still there. The rocket blast from takeoff would have obliterated everything in the vicinity. Other steps may still be there, but this particular footprint is long gone. Glad we have the picture!
